Maia Claire Garrison, the Artistic Director at Reel.Dance.Music, has a deep-rooted appreciation for editing dance for film. With over 25 years of experience choreographing for the proscenium stage, she became intrigued by how film editing platforms can serve as an innovative choreographic tool. Garrison strongly believes that the most effective editors of dance material for film are the choreographers themselves.

ALPHA LEVEL (Tribal Remix)
Garrison's first single and music video Alpha Level (Tribal Remix) delves into soul-searching, grappling with flaws, and finding the courage to confront them for the sake of creating meaningful partnership. The lyrics carry themes of love, growth and renewal. An ode to self-awareness and resilience, the song's chorus, "I laid the foundation," radiates with optimism and celebrates personal clarity. DON'T LET IT
Written and performed by Maia Claire in collaboration with her brother, bassist and composer Matthew Garrison, "Don’t Let It", the song and its accompanying music video, offers an invitation to stay rooted in clarity and the quiet strength that comes from refusing to let negativity win. The refrain "Don’t let the devil tempt you" serves as a metaphor for the inner battles we all face: the moments when doubt, fear, or familiar patterns try to overpower the thoughts that keep us steady, hopeful, and aligned. This piece encourages listeners and viewers alike to pause and choose the voice that uplifts rather than the one that undermines.
